6th Suzuki Teachers’ Xchange Weekend in Germany

Suzuki teachers from all over the world will come to the Conference and share their experience.
They are preparing wonderful lectures,
discussions and instrumental sessions FOR YOU.
One of the highlights will be the world-renowned British violin pedagogue Simon Fischer,
author of “BASICS” and many other publications.

Exploring intermediate techniques for the developing violinist
In order to play the pieces in Books 4-6 well, long-term preparation of many left and right hand techniques is necessary.
This course will be devoted to focus on how various technical skills such as: vibrato, playing in positions, double stops, bowing patterns, articulation, and the use of varying bow speeds can be thoroughly prepared so that they are ready for use in the Suzuki repetoire of the intermediate level.

Intensive Course for Suzuki Violin Teachers

End: Monday, 03 November 2014, 1:30 p.m.Goals for the First Year
Experienced Suzuki teachers from various European countries and the USA will share details about their personal plan for shaping the first year of lessons. Which instrumental and musical goals have priority and how are they implemented with their students? How do they help their students develop stamina, discipline and concentration? How do they guide the parents towards effectively supporting their children’s musical development?
