4th Suzuki Teachers’ Xchange Weekend in Germany
for Suzuki Violin, Viola, Cello, Recorder and Piano Teachers

CLARE RAYBOULD from London reports about her violin project in India
‘Shining LIght Goa (Suzuki Violin Project)’

It is a children’s charity called Educators’ Trust India.
These children will be taught using Suzuki method.  Clare will be starting violin lessons in December 2012 and teaching there for 2 months. The first volunteer has confirmed for February. This blog explains the project in more detail: http://worldofriches.wordpress.com/

Bach’s Violin Concerto in E Major, BWV 1042
No. 1: Starting to practice Bach’s Concerto in E Major (technical preparations)
No. 2: How to learn new intermediate pieces for violin implementing the Suzuki teaching points
No. 3: How to prepare the orchestra parts
No. 4: Tone exercises for the soloist
No.5: Practice this concerto with orchestra. Violin teachers can apply to play the solo part of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd movement with the conference orchestra.

MARCO MESSINA from Italiy presenting the Children’s Music Lab program (CML).

Children’s Music Lab program (CML) is designed as pre instrument introduction and for all Suzuki method instruments.

Children’s Music Lab anticipates and helps to develop of some necessary skills: fine motoric skills, coordination, discipline, learning attitude, development of the melodic, harmonic and rhythmic ear, of vocal expression, memorization and orientation.

SARA MIGLIORINI, Suzuki piano teacher from Italiy, offers three lectures:

1. Don’t force children to learn too quickly but improve known pieces.
2. Frequent group lessons to encourage them through enjoyment.
3. “Children’s Music Laboratory” by Elena Enrico is a big help BEFORE and DURING the study of instruments.
