7th Suzuki Teachers’ Exchange Weekend
in Germany

(Violin / Viola / Cello)

Suzuki teachers from all over the world will come to the Conference and share their experience.
They are preparing wonderful lectures,
discussions and instrumental sessions FOR YOU.

One of the conference highlights will be the world-renowned American violinist and pedagogue BRIAN LEWIS, one of the most versatile and charismatic violinists today.

During the conference, Brian Lewis will lecture, perform a recital, and teach masterclasses for students and teachers.
He is the son of Alice Joy Lewis, a well-known pioneer of the Suzuki method in the United States.

As a child, he studied with and performed for Dr. Suzuki on many occasions.  As a dynamic and engaging teacher, Brian Lewis is committed to growing the legacies of the great pedagogues
Dorothy DeLay and Dr. Shinichi Suzuki

New Teaching Ideas
for Lessons with Beginners

The future success of a student depends greatly upon the teacher’s ability to effectively teach the content of Book 1.  Experienced Suzuki teachers from various European countries and the USA will share details about their strategies for establishing an excellent foundation for beginning students.  In particular, the course will address the most important teaching points in Book 1, as participants learn new and creative ways to teach technique, musicianship, and sound quality to children.  An interesting feature of the course will include a special emphasis on new ideas for using technology in lessons and in home practice.
